Request for information
The probe 661.622-UV/NIR is an ultra miniature immersion probe with a stainless steel tube and a handle also made of stainless steel. This new type of ultra mini probe allows the user to change, easily and quickly, the optical path lengths by means of removable tips. Tips are available for path lengths from 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20 mm.
The light beam passes the sample twice. An input (first) monofiber transmits the light through a lens and across the optical path to a high-efficiency coated mirror. This mirror returns the light through the lens to the receiving (second) monofiber.
The monofibers equiped with SMA 905 connectors are made of quartz glass and re fused directly each other. The cables are permanently attached to the top sectionand are, therefore, not changeable. The ultra miniature immersion probe is well suited for the analysis in smaller sample volumes in laboratory applications. An example for this is the TDA measurement (Tablet Dissolution Analysis).
